Excited to have visited the new location! I had previously only been when they were down by the farmers market. Friendly staff and a tasting gets you $5 off a bottle. Highly recommend the old fashioned no maple syrup (not much of a sweet drink person).

I wanted to share a recent experience I had with Black Button Distillery. I live in Alaska and love going to visit Buffalo each fall.
One of my favorite things to do is visit the Hamburg Fairgrounds each year for their, "Christmas in the country" event, (I think it's called), and of course catch a home Bills game.
A few years ago, I came across samples of the Bourbon Cream samples! WOW, in all I can say. As someone who loves Baileys as an add-in or with coffee or hot cocoa on occasion, it can not and does not even come close to the Bourbon Cream.
I buy bottles each year to take home. Not one person I have shared with has ever disagreed with me on this being so different and spectacular!
I was unable to get home this year, sadly, so my sister and Mom went and picked up my usual haul.
There was an experience they had that I shared with the team recently, and they responded right away.

This place was unbelievably cool. The story is amazing and what they are doing there is truly heroic for our local community. All of the drinks were delicious and our tour guide Oliver, was incredible.
This was my first time at the new location and we were not disappointed! We went pretty early on a Saturday (around noon) and there weren’t too many people there yet, but it was a beautiful day and we got to sit right within the open window.
Someone came up to us right away and sat us with menus and came back pretty quickly with our drinks after ordering! We had planned to get a snack while we were there, but the server informed us the food menu is only available on Sundays, which is fine but I didn’t see it mentioned on the website where the menu was so just a heads up.
The building was nice and spacious, our server was kind and service was fast, but ultimately the drinks we had were delicious! Between my boyfriend and I we tried 3 different cocktails all of which we’d certainly get again. Highly recommend!
We scheduled a group tour and tasting and had THE BEST TIME!!! Our guide, Oliver, was AMAZING! Seriously the most interesting and energetic tour guide we've ever met. Our guests are still talking about it. So interesting and informative; and, of course, the tasting of the great product was a huge highlight.
The story behind Black Button is pretty cool, and one that was told to us by one of the bartenders. The staff is incredibly friendly and personable, and the drinks are fantastic. They go a long way to source as local as possible for all ingredients, and the product is quality. Soon they'll be in a much larger venue on University and I'm happy for their growth
Such a great little place to hang out with some exceptionally knowledgeable staff. They know everything about what they serve and it isn't just "this is the best!" They will straight tell you the things they liked, their personal preferences, similar drinks etc. Very attentive to your current pour and talkative. The space is neat, clean and has a cool "windows" that allow fresh air in. Delicious!
